Volunteer Programme – ‘Connect’

The volunteer programme – called Connect, benefits from the involvement of committed and energetic people who provide regular social outings and befriending for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

Volunteering roles include:

  • Befriending
  • Supporting group outings
  • Helping to run afterschool clubs/camps
  • Driving
  • Helping someone with computer skills
  • Attending matches
  • Helping with arts and drama groups
  • Playing music

We will match your interests, any skills you wish to share, the amount of time you wish to commit and the times you are available to suit both you and the person(s) you will volunteer with.

To become a volunteer you will be required to:

Complete out an application Form:  Volunteer Application Form for Volunteers

Complete a Garda Clearance Form:  Volunteer Garda Clearance Form New

Following this the Volunteer Coordinator will identify the best role for you within the organization.
